When you work with me, you'll receive a fully bespoke wedding cake design service, creating a one-of-a-kind cake that feels completely yours. From our first conversation through to delivery and set up on the day, every detail is carefully considered.

Your Wedding Cake Journey

Once you’ve secured your wedding date and venue, it's the perfect time to begin planning your wedding cake. Most couples book 6-12 months before their wedding date, particularly for popular summer weekends.
Once your enquiry is received and availability confirmed, we’ll move into the consultation stage. Consultations are held via Zoom, allowing us to talk through your ideas in detail – from overall style and inspiration to flavours and finishes – all from the comfort of your own home.

The process begins with your enquiry, allowing me to understand your wedding date, venue, guest numbers and style you are drawn to.
Once i've checked availability, ill be in touch to confirm and outline the next steps. A £150 booking deposit is then required to secure your date in my diary. This deposit is then deducted from your final balance.
Once booked, your date is exclusively reserved and we move forward with the design process.

Following your enquiry, we'll move onto the design development stage. This begins with a design consultation, held via zoom, where we will explore your ideas in more detail- from overall style and inspiration to flavours, finishes and the finer details that make your cake feel personal to you.
This stage is collaborative and thoughtfully paced allowing your ideas to take shape and evolve into a considered design that complements your wedding and venue beautifully.
You’re welcome to share any inspiration you’ve gathered -from colour swatches and florals to stationery or mood boards - to help guide the design process. While inspiration is always welcomed, each Olive & Mac cake is individually designed and never directly replicated, ensuring a truly bespoke result.
Taster boxes are available to order should you wish to explore different flavour combinations, allowing you to enjoy and refine your choices as the design comes together.

Following the design consultation, I’ll refine and finalise the design of your wedding cake, ensuring every detail feels thoughtfully considered and true to your vision.
At this stage, final details such as proportions, flavour choices and finishing touches are confirmed. Any remaining practical elements are also agreed, allowing everything to come together with clarity and confidence.
With every detail agreed, you can relax knowing your wedding cake is in safe hands as the day approaches.

Due to the delicate nature of wedding cakes and hand-crafted decorative elements, delivery and set-up are carefully planned to ensure everything arrives and is displayed exactly as intended. Where appropriate, I liaise directly with your venue or wedding coordinator to confirm timings and arrangements ahead of the day.
On the day itself, your cake will be delivered and set up with care, with all relevant information — including allergen guidance and cake cutting details — shared with your venue team. This allows you to focus on enjoying your day, knowing every detail has been thoughtfully taken care of.
All that’s left for you to do is enjoy your wedding day — and, of course, the cake.
Delivery and set up are quoted separately with costs guided by your venue and location.
From our first conversation through to the moment your cake is set in place, my approach is thoughtful, calm, and entirely bespoke. I work with a limited number of couples each year so every design receives the time, care and creative attention it deserves.
Every Olive & Mac cake is individually designed and created to reflect your celebration, with pricing tailored to the size, design and level of detail involved. Most couples invest between £500 -£900, with a minimum spend of £450. Following your enquiry , I'll be able to provide an initial guide price, with a more detailed quotation prepared as your design develops.
If your cake size falls below the minimum spend – ie, a single-tier design – this can be made up with additional elements such as bespoke cupcakes, biscuit favours or complementary treats, designed to sit beautifully alongside your wedding cake.
